If it uses electricity, we’ll clear it. Laptops, PCs and servers, of course, but also printers and photocopiers, phones and tablets, monitors and TVs, networking kit, tills and card machines, CCTV, cables, chargers and peripherals. We don’t pick and choose.

Yes. Keyboards, mice, cables, chargers, docks and anything else electrical can all go in the same collection, so you can clear the whole cupboard in one go. It’s reused or recycled under WEEE regulations.

No. Broken, dead or very old equipment is fine. If a drive has failed and can’t be accessed, it’s physically destroyed to particles of 6mm or less, in line with NCSC guidance.

Yes. Most business printers and copiers keep recently printed and scanned documents in their memory, along with network settings such as Wi-Fi passwords and scan-to-email addresses. We clear them like any other device that holds data.

There’s no strict minimum, but collections of fewer than 10 items may have a charge, depending on what they are. Our free collections are designed for business clear-outs: office refreshes, server rooms and stockpiles of old kit. Tell us roughly what you have, how much and how old it is, and we’ll look at it case by case.

Every hard drive and SSD is individually erased to HMG IS5 (Infosec Standard 5), so every single byte is rewritten and no trace is left behind. Each drive receives a certificate from industry-approved erasure software, logged against its serial number. If a drive has failed and can’t be accessed, it’s physically destroyed to particles of 6mm or less, in line with NCSC guidance.

No. We try our best to avoid landfill as part of our carbon-neutral mission. Once your drive goes through our process, every single byte is rewritten, so there are no traces left behind. Every drive receives a certificate from industry-approved erasure software. We don’t cut corners.

Yes. Collections use GPS-tracked vehicles, and every asset is logged by serial number and sealed on-site before it leaves you. That starts an unbroken chain of custody right through to erasure.

No, that’s our job. If you can, sign devices out of any Apple ID, Google or company management accounts first. Locked devices can’t be refurbished, although their data is still destroyed.

Yes. UK GDPR expects you to be able to show that personal data was destroyed securely. Our certificates give you that evidence for audits, clients and insurers.

We erase to HMG IS5 and DoD 5220.22-M, recycle under WEEE regulations, and handle everything with a complete chain of custody.

Collections of 10 or more items are completely free. Smaller collections may have a charge, depending on the items, so please still get in touch and we’ll look at it case by case.

Yes. Tell us each location when you book and we’ll plan the collections together.

With the data securely erased, machines are tested, repaired and refurbished so they can be reused. Anything that can’t be reused is recycled responsibly under WEEE regulations.
